EccoFreight receives the ” Entrepreneur Project of the Year” award granted by employer’s organisation CEPYME.

The company’s growth in new international markets, the investment in transport with technological innovation tools and the development of sustainable initiatives in CO2 measurement, have been highlighted as distinguishing elements to recognize EccoFreight as the best entrepreneurial project of 2016.
 

On November 29th, the III Edition of the CEPYME Awards was held in the main auditorium of the Reina Sofía Art Museum, awards granted by the employer’s organisation CEPYME recognizing the trajectory of small and medium-sized enterprises and their contribution to the productive fabric.

EccoFreight, finalist of 2016 III CEPYME Awards

Eccofreight has been selected as finalist for CEPYME awards in two categories: “Best Company of the Year” and “Best entrepreneurial project”.

The awards ceremony will take place on November 29th at 12:00. At the Reina Sofia Museum in Madrid, the jury of the awards under the honorary presidency of SS.MM. Kings of Spain, will make public the finalists in a gala presided by the President of the Government, Mr. Mariano Rajoy Brey.

The CEPYME awards are today the most prestigious award and represents a great recognition to the success of SMEs business in our country.

EccoFreight is one of the first companies ready for VGM new trade requirement

From July 1st, shipping lines will be able to deny containers on board that do not have a VGM (Verified Gross Mass). Many details of this regulation have not yet been finalized or confirmed so the implementation is likely to vary between countries, carriers and terminals.

Effective from July 1st, 2016, shipping containers stuffed with cargo can be rejected for shipment at ports if they do not have a VGM (Verified Gross Mass). This is because of a new international regulation from the IMO (International Maritime Organization/).
