EccoFreight: 5 Years Driving Sustainable Logistics Forward

5-years-of-eccofreight

A few days ago, the EccoFreight team gathered together to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the company as a sustainable logistics operator.

The members of EccoFreight Madrid, EccoFreight Valencia and EccoFreight Sevilla reunited for a whole weekend to celebrate the company’s achievements in its first five years of activity, review the company’s latest developments, and to look into the future of EccoFreight’s sustainable logistics project with optimism.

Throughout its first five years of activity, EccoFreight has consolidated a staff comprised of 30 employees distributed among its three offices, working together to cover the air, sea and land freight needs of the firm’s clients.

Moreover, EccoFreight provides a global service thanks to more than 80 partnerships with logistics networks and forwarders distributed all around the world. In 2017, EccoFreight signed an agreement with Thai freight forwarder WICE to guarantee quality coverage for the logistics needs of its clients in Asia. One of the next steps that EccoFreight plans to take is to strengthen its footprint in the United States by starting operating in Miami.

EccoFreight: sustainable logistics

EccoFreight’s value proposition stands out for its focus on the sustainability of the logistics chain, with the measurement of greenhouse gas emissions derived from the logistics activity being its most differentiated service.

Many of the firm’s clients now enjoy the logistics sustainability services provided by EccoFreight, including top companies in the food and industrial sectors.

EccoFreight is currently working on a new project aimed at bringing sustainable logistics services to companies that already have their logistics covered, since until now the firm only provided these services as a freight forwarder.

These have certainly been five years of growth and innovation for the logistics sector, but EccoFreight’s journey has only just begun.
